Ready to get your hands dirty? In this class, you’ll get up close and personal with moss and dirt–and learn everything you know to create your own terrarium! Brooklyn-based terrarium designer Gönül Yetim will show you everything you need to know to create your own tiny, self-sufficient universe where cute little creatures frolic in a lush green landscape.

We’ll provide all the supplies, including a glass apothecary jar with a lid, several types of specialty mosses, stones, soil, and–best of all–supercute figurines to populate your little world. We’ll focus on making a closed terrarium, which means that once you build it and close the lid, you’ll almost never need to open it again; it will become a self-sustaining ecosystem. You’ll leave with a beautiful, finished terrarium to take home and enjoy forever!
