If you’ve been wanting to learn to crochet but have never so much as picked up a hook, this class is for you! Designed for complete newbies, this session led by crochet designer Cal Patch will teach you the very basics, from how to hold a hook and yarn, to how to make a starting chain and work a single crochet stitch. You’ll begin by working back in forth in rows to make a square piece of fabric which you can turn into anything from a change purse to phone cozy. As you progress, you can experiment with working in the round to create cute little circles that you can transform into crafty earrings! At the end of this session you’ll have a foundation in crochet that you can continue to explore at home.

Everything you need will be provided, including yarn, crochet hooks and earring findings–and it will all be yours to keep after class!
